Kristin Hornberger
My name is Kristin, and I am the woman behind the camera at Kristin Hornberger Photography. I am so lucky to be able to capture Indy through photos. I got married in 2006 to my husband, Dean. I am so thankful to have found him and have enjoyed every moment. He is a wonderful, thoughtful and amazing man and I look forward to growing old with him. In March 2010, after more than three years of trying, we joyfully welcomed our son, Owen, to our family. He is an adorable “mini-Deano” with a dimpled chin like his father and a laugh with a big set of teeth just like mine. We knew we didn’t want to wait much longer for another child and were blessed with Gracie in July 2011, a baby girl that Dean never wants to grow up! Dean and I love being parents and are so thankful for our two little blessings. We are enjoying our two little growing munchkins and we couldn't be happier. When I am not working on the photography business or in the commercial real estate world, I absolutely love having time to hang out, think about or be on the beach, take walks with the kiddos, cook, go to movies and sit with Dean on our swing outside watching the kids run around our small farm. I fell in love with photography at a young age and have always had a camera in my hand. Since opening my business in 2005, I have loved being a part of so many fantastic and super fun moments in peoples’ lives. I approach photography with a very natural technique. I blend a photo-journalistic style with a little traditional/classic style with an emphasis on composition, lighting, and background. I am excited to say that I have used these last few years to focus and build my real estate photography portfolio. I love finding a unique perspective, capturing stunning architecture and, ultimately, creating stunning artwork for others to enjoy. I felt such a strong passion in my new pursuit in real estate, that I recently obtained my Indiana real estate license. I am so happy with my business and life decisions, because that brings me to where I am today. I get the both of both worlds . . . getting to work hard and play hard. I strive to find those angles in real estate photographs of buildings and commercial property that tell a story. I am loving life and getting to take lots of photos along the way.
